Say it with Style

HBC_zoomWe love personalized stationery.  It makes our hearts skip a collective beat.  Few things compare to the satisfaction of seeing your name or monogram in an elegant font on beautiful paper.

In an era when handwritten communication is falling by the wayside, personal notes are all the more special.  I've always been very vocal about my infatuation with stationery.  I gifted my bridesmaids personalized stationery and, prior to my wedding, I loudly expressed my desire for stationery in my married name hoping that someone (cough*CF*cough) would pick up on my hints (she didn't but Joe did, and he gave me some as a first anniversary gift).

Our favorite type of stationery is the flat note or correspondence card.  It's clean and polished with plenty of room for a thoughtful message.  We don't discriminate against other forms of stationery, though; we'll indulge in everything from folded note cards to small gift enclosure cards to personalized notepads.  Personalized notepads have even revolutionized MR's grocery shopping experience.  No longer does she feel ashamed of her sad list scrawled on a piece of scrap paper.  She feels proud.

Some of our favorite online stationery spots are Fine Stationery, Tiny Prints (Tiny Prints is also great for personalized invitations), Crane, and the super affordable American Stationery (great for the stationery newbie who doesn't want to shell out a ton of cash).

I look forward to receiving your personal note.  Warmly, Gina.
