As I've disclosed before, I'm a huge fan of personalized stationery and handwritten notes. But despite my deep affection for stationery, I've always felt that the exterior component of my personal notes always lacked a certain touch: a custom return address stamp. Unlike most people who long to buy a home so they can paint, decorate and customize the interior to their personal style, I was most excited to buy a home so I could buy a return address stamp. Yes, I could've bought one while renting, but that would have been a foolish investment, and HCG is nothing if not a shrewd investor.
So last Christmas I jumped into the world of return address stamps and bought a calligraphy stamp with my and Joe's names and our address inside a wreath, and this holiday stamp was the crowning jewel of our Christmas card. Laura of the Trial by Cupcakes Etsy shop made my stamp, and she was incredible to work with. Laura sent me a proof of my stamp so I could approve it before she created it, and she even upgraded me to priority shipping to ensure my stamp would arrive with enough time to send my Christmas cards. I couldn't have been happier with Laura, the stamp or the purchasing experience.
Then, on Christmas morning, CF gifted me my very own self-inking return address stamp which is perfect for all types of correspondence. Sometimes I sit back, look at my life and marvel at the good fortune of owning not one but two custom return address stamps.
