Don’t forget: Anna Sui for Target launches this Sunday, September 13. The collection is inspired by Gossip Girl, and Sui has designed a set of looks based on each character (the pieces shown above are part of the looks based on Blair Waldorf).
Target designer collaborations are awesome because they give people in all areas of the country access to “designer” fashion. I’ve had great success with these collaborations before, but each collection isn’t always a home run. Some of the Anna Sui pieces seem questionable at first glance (I’m not so sure about the white lace dress), but, like all garments, how well they work on you all depends on, among other things, how you wear them.
For example, I wouldn’t wear the blue dress as styled above, but it might look cool if you untie the neck, lose the belt and thrown a little leather jacket on top of it. The little sparkly number on the left has serious potential as well.
Like all savvy Target designer collaboration shoppers know, it’s best to go the day of the release before all the good stuff (and sizes) are gone. I’ve heard from an HCG tipster that certain Target stores already have the Sui pieces in stock as of today.
If you go on Sunday, make sure you get home before the VMAs!

Any woman who rolls up to a Target designer collaboration release that early on the first day is a woman after my own heart. I’m so glad you like the blog!
