Dane: Thank you so much! I know you truly understand the immense joy I receive from this purchase. The shower idea is AMAZING – I love it! I think we should make it a trend, and I can post about it. We can get a cake that reads “Showers of Luxury” with little edible sugar bags all over it.
I’m sure yours will recover fine in the shop – definitely give me an update when you get it back.

I know you are a devoted HCG reader, and I really can’t tell you how much it means to me that you like it :) Sadly, though, I didn’t buy the ruby Louboutins – they’re not exactly in the budget right now (after the Chanel purchase, not much is really within my budget). CONGRATS!!! I feel like you should put balloons outside your apt announcing its arrival like “It’s a Chanel!”. Perhaps we should have thrown you a shower or something giving you leather cleaning products and such. Well, if you get another fabulous bag (which I have no doubt you will) I will send out invites.

My little baby is still in the shop – thats what I get for having a lambskin and not caviar…oh well. I hope she’s in good hands.

Little B: Thanks for your congratulations! Thank you, too, for reminding me of my roots. To clarify: I did have one real Kate Spade bag when I arrived at college (the knock offs followed when I discovered Canal Street during summer 2001). Remember how convincing they were?
