Target and Here Comes Gina are really on the same page lately. It’s been only a little while since we wrote about finding the perfect summer hat, and Target is granting our wish with the launch of a diffusion line by Eugenia Kim!
Eugenia Kim is a New York milliner whose pricey hats sell for hundreds at luxury retailers like Barney’s and Net-a-Porter (example: the $280 EK striped hat in our summer hats post). As expected, Kim’s Target pieces will set you back only $14.99 to $19.99. This isn’t Kim’s first run at offering budget-friendly pieces; the designer teamed up with Urban Outfitters last year, and the hats were adorable and the quality was high (I picked up one on major sale). If the sheer affordability of these hats isn’t convincing enough, Eugenia Kim’s retro style is worth a trip down the shiny white tiled Target aisles. The floppy hat above is right in line with my summer beach wardrobe and looks strikingly similar to a hat Kate Hudson was recently spotted wearing in Miami. A few more EK + Target looks below:

The fun doesn’t stop with hats – Target has enlisted Cynthia Vincent for its fifth footwear designer collaboration, and, in the words of CF, “It’s about damn time Target got some decent shoes again.” Luckily, Vincent is offering replicas of her expensive shoes for a steal; wedges cost only $29.99 and flats are priced at $24.99. No siting in South Philly Target this a.m.
AVF: Thanks for the update! I checked the Cherry Hill Target Sunday afternoon and only a few sad pairs of CV shoes were stocked (not the wedges) and no EK hats. It seemed as though they didn’t get the full stock. Boooooo.
After some investigation I learned that some Target stores were late with thier shipments and/or display/signage shipments. As standard, some put it out early and some aren’t putting them out until the 25th! Most likely they have them in the back, which is why on the target website the “find it at a store” option says its available. Just have to swindle the right Target employee to fetch one for you. In case anyone else was stalking their local target store and was wondering why they couldn’t find them…

Those hats are SO cute. i looked on Targets website, but i couldnt find them! Does anybody know where else i could find them?
Hi Emily! Like all Target designer collaborations, the Eugenia Kim hats were available for only a limited time. eBay or another online resale site would probably be your best bet. Good luck!
